DJ GARBAGE WITCHES SEARCHING FOR A PARALLEL UNIVERSE

Modern Jo: DJ Garbage Witches Searching for a Parallel Universe was an interactive, ambulatory, site specific performance piece that happened in six locations across the North End of Halifax. It was written and directed by Lou Campbell and starred Thom Niles, Lou Campbell, Laura Gallagher-Doucette, Sarah Deller, Miranda Jones, Simone Hogeveen, Rebecca Singbeil and Sansom Marchand. The piece followed two characters, Modern Jo and DJ Garbage Witch, portrayed by multiple actors in multiple locations. It was an absurd adventure where two privileged liberal art-school graduates “rejected society” in search of a parallel universe.
