Lou Campbell (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Kjipuktuk/Halifax, NS. Their practice traverses many mediums including performance, clown, collage, drag, poetry, and sound art. Their critically acclaimed solo show “PRUDE” won multiple awards and toured festivals such as: Stages Festival, rEvolver, High Performance Rodeo, Outfest, Dramafest, Neuroqueer fest, and Plain Site Festival. They also co-run a cross-province collective based in Toronto and Halifax called Probably Theatre. Lou sometimes acts in more traditional theatrical productions. They play Ben in Matchstick Theatre’s “Leaving Home” which will feature in the National Art Centre’s 2027 season. In their spare time they like to camp, bike, hike, swim, sew and play sims.
